Mark Sage
Mark Sage is someone with a broad and deep expertise in the use of Augmented Reality solutions for enterprises.
He is the Executive Director of the Augmented Reality for Enterprise Alliance (AREA). The AREA is a membership funded alliance, helping to accelerate the adoption of Augmented Reality (AR) through a comprehensive ecosystem. Mark's background includes a strong interest in mobile, AR, VR, and IoT and he is excited to work with enterprises, providers and research organizations to the benefit and growth of the AR within the enterprise.
In addition to his work with AREA, Mark is an advisor and consultant to a number of high profile immersive technology enterprises and start-ups.
Alex Gibson
Alex Gibson is a leading authority on AR and VR solutions for enterprises. He has consulted widely in the immersive technology space and in 2014 he founded a leading international conference in this space - ARVR INNOVATE. Alex is Advisor to TechIreland on AR and VR sectors and he has led research projects in tourism and education applications of AR and VR. He is currently working on research projects into the use of VR as a tool to enhance students’ public speaking skills.
Alex is passionate about building Ireland’s capability as a leading centre of AR and VR technologies. He covers AR and VR topics on his weekly radio programme on marketing issues – The Persuaders – on Dublin City FM. More recently Alex has launched a blog The Immersive Marketer where he explores how AR and VR are being deployed in marketing campaigns.
